Bruce served at Toronto, Vandorf, Bond Lake, Sibbald Point Provincial Park, Oak Ridges, Brampton, Snelgrove, Downsview and Pinery Park Detachments, Central Record Branch, Records & Identification Branch, Records Management Branch & Program Audit & Evaluation Branch, Long Sault DHQ, Career Management Branch and Transport Branch before retiring as an Inspector from Transport & Supply Branch on June 30, 1993. Bruce is survived by his wife Effie and his children Alexis, Bruce, Doug, daughter in law Lisa Shipley (OPP Project Support Centre – Investigations & Organized Crime) and predeceased by daughter Lynda Mae.
