Atholl served at Perth DHQ, Pembroke, Little Current and Sudbury Detachments, Anti-Rackets, CIB, Field Division and Downsview DHQ before retiring as an Inspector from Belleville DHQ on December 31, 1987. Atholl is survived by his wife, Ramona, and his son, Paul and step-daughter, Lorraine.
