Eck served at Ignace, Dryden, Atikokan, Perth and London Detachments before retiring as an Assistant OPP Commissioner from Toronto GHQ on October 31, 1975. Eck is survived by his children, Doug and Robin and pre-deceased by his wife, Joyce.
