Brent served at Barrie Detachment, Transport & Supply Branch, Supply Section (Weapons Control) and Co-ordination Unit, Electronic Interception before retiring as a Sergeant from the Co-ordination Unit, Tech Support Services on July 31, 2001. Brent is survived by his wife, Jacqueline and his daughters Erin and Lyndsey and son-in-law Detective Constable Chris Bateman of Investigative Support Bureau.
