Howard served at the Long Sault and St. Catharines Detachments before retiring as Senior Constable from the Niagara Falls Detachment on January 31, 1990. Howard is survived by spouse, Gisele; his children retired OPP Sergeant Daril Beam #6684 (Security Bureau), Gary Beam (retired RCMP) and Brian.
