John served at Burlington, Burlington DHQ and Aurora DHQ before retiring as a Sergeant from the Burlington Detachment on December 31, 2007. John is survived by his wife, Luba (Lee) and his children, OPP Sergeant Tim Mason of Crime Prevention & Investigation in West Region, Corrin, Lukas, Kristin and Damian.
