Syd served at Belleville DHQ, Sharbot Lake, Glencoe and Madoc Detachments before retiring as Staff Sergeant from the Belleville DHQ Traffic Unit on January 31, 1991. Syd is survived by children Cindy and Deborah and predeceased by his wife Sylvia.
