Les served at Timmins, South Porcupine and North East Patrol Detachments before retiring as a Sergeant from South Porcupine DHQ Communications Unit on March 30, 1990. Les is survived by his wife Anne, children Brenda and Neil, his nephew OPP Constable Peter Crouse (Kirkland Lake), his brother-in-law retired OPP Senior Constable Alex Vahey (Gananoque) and his niece retired OPP Constable Jo-Ann Crouse-Anderson (Englehart).
