Monty served his entire career at Cayuga Detachment before retiring as West Region Aboriginal Liaison Officer on 31 May 2017. Monty is survived by his wife Cheryl and children Mark and Nicole and his brother-in-law Ontario Provincial Police Detective Constable Michael Donovan (East Region).
