Mike served at Kenora, Vermillion Bay, Armstrong, Manitouwadge and Nipigon Detachments and Thunder Bay DHQ Crime Unit before retiring as Detective Inspector from the Criminal Investigation Branch (Sudbury & Thunder Bay) on December 31, 1993. Mike is survived by his children Morgan and Patrick and predeceased by his wife Grace.
Matt served with the Red Lake Detachment as well as in Ear Falls. Matt is survived by his wife Shawnda, sons Ben and Luke and his parents Richard (OPP Retired Sergeant, Campbellford Detachment) and Judy.
Gary served at Sturgeon Falls and Forest Detachments before retiring as Senior Constable from the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment on July 1, 1998. Gary is survived by his children, Tina, Suzanne, Lisa, Gary and Richard.
Dick served at White River and Whitby Detachments, Downsview DHQ Traffic Unit and OPP Telecommunications Project before retiring as Senior Constable from Osgoode Hall on April 30, 1995. Dick is survived by his children Ailsa, Jillian and Brian and predeceased by his wife Sandra and son Stuart.
Nick was an Amalgamated Officer from the former Kingsville Police Service and served at the Guelph Detachment before retiring as Sergeant from the Essex Detachment on June 30, 2006. Nick is survived by his wife Jean and children Peter, Nick Jr. and Jessie and stepchildren Andy, Doug and Crista.
Gerry served at Parry Sound Detachment, Tactics and Rescue Unit (North Bay) before retiring as Constable from the West Parry Sound Detachment on April 30, 2011. Gerry is survived by his wife Lorraine and children Tiffanie, Shane and Ashley.
Joe served at the Guelph and Orillia Detachments, Barrie DHQ Communications Unit before retiring as a Sergeant from Human Resources Branch GHQ on May 31, 1996. Joe is survived by his wife Sandra, stepdad to Scott and Kevin Kett.
Al served at the St. Catharines, Niagara Falls Detachments, Intelligence Bureau Orillia, and assigned to JSCIU/SFSU before retiring as a Detective Constable from Intelligence Bureau Niagara Falls on January 31, 2006. Al is survived by his wife Cathy and sons Detective Constable Deacon Berecz (Halton Regional Police Service) and Cameron.
Malcolm served at Essex, Belle River, Woodstock Detachments, Special Investigation Division, Anti-Rackets Branch and Queen’s Park Detachment, before retiring as Superintendent from Fleet, Supply & Weapons Service Bureau on October 22, 2024. Malcolm is survived by his wife Anne-Marie and their children Derek, Damien, Owein, Duncan and predeceased by Meaghan.
Mark served at the Elliot Lake, Blind River, Alliston, Ear Falls and Sioux Lookout Detachments before retiring as a Sergeant from the Lanark County (Perth) Detachment on April 30, 2017. Mark is survived by his wife Ingrid, their children Bryan, Karlene, Janelle, and predeceased by Michael and Alex.
