Mack is survived by his wife Shirley, sons Retired OPP Constable Dean Rutherford (South Bruce), Retired OPP Inspector Mark Rutherford (GHQ), Son-in-Law Gene Osmond (Retired Toronto Police), grandsons OPP Special Constable Mackenzie Rutherford (Offender Transport East Region), OPP Constable Matthew Rutherford (DT/CSCU Investigator East Region), grandson-in-law OPP Constable Steve Hillier (DT/Investigator OCEB London), nephews OPP Retired Sergeant Robert Fleming (Essex) and OPP Retired Constable Donald Fleming (Central Region Canine Handler Barrie).
Mac served at Nipigon, Nakina and Kitchener Detachments, Intelligence Branch, Operational Services Branch and Technical Support before retiring as a Staff Sergeant from Anti-Rackets Branch London on December 31, 1995. Mac is survived by his children James and Alison, predeceased by his wife Audrey.

Bill is survived by his wife Connie (Retired OPP DAC, Burlington Detachment) and their daughter Tracey.
