PAUL CROTEAU, Badge #5139, passed away on October 4, 2017. Paul served at Parry Sound, South Porcupine and Brantford Detachments before retiring as a Sergeant from Brant County Detachment on December 31, 2005. Paul served as OPP Association Branch #3 President from 1999 to 2000. Paul is survived by his wife Maureen and daughter Danielle.

Detachment Administrative Clerk BRIDGET APNAR of Wawa Detachment passed away on October 2, 2017. Bridget is survived by her parents Martha and Ciril and family.

Jerry served at Woodstock, Central Patricia and Manotick Detachments, Technical Support Branch, Rainy River and Burlington Detachments and Burlington DHQ Communications Unit before retiring as a Sergeant from Niagara Falls Detachment on May 31, 1998. Jerry is survived by his wife Kathleen and children Debbie and Dawn.

Carl served at Kingston, Downsview Detachments, Operational Services, Technical Support, Registration, Records and Registration, Organized Crime and Casino Intelligence Branches before retiring as a Staff Sergeant from Intelligence Branch on January 31, 2005. Carl was also the Chairperson for the OPP Veterans’ Association Chapter 18 in Orillia since 2010 and was recently elected as a Director for the OPP Veterans’ Association. Carl is survived by his wife, Jane and their children Stacey, David and Mary.

Brian started his career with Toronto Police as a Cadet in June 1973 and continued to serve the people of Toronto until he moved to Terrace Bay Police Service in 1991.  In December of 2001 he joined the OPP with the amalgamation of Terrace Bay Police. Brian is survived by his wife, Janice and their daughter Jennifer.

Roy served his entire career at Cochrane Detachment before retiring as a Sergeant on August 31, 1995. Roy is survived by his children, Randy, Wendy and Jennifer and predeceased by his wife Sandra.

Jim served at Sudbury DHQ, Sault Ste. Marie, Elliot Lake and Toronto Detachments, Timmins DHQ, Planning and Research Branch, Program Analysis, Policy Analyst Secretariat, Registration Branch and Staff Inspections Branch before retiring as an Inspector from Program Evaluation Branch on January 31, 1992. Jim is survived by his spouse Doris and children Carolyn, Lisa and David and predeceased by his son Donald.

Peter served with Parry Sound Police Service until their amalgamation with the OPP.  Peter served his entire OPP career at Parry Sound Detachment before retiring as a Constable on May 31, 1998. Peter is survived by his children Barry, Tim and Terri and predeceased by his wife Wilma and son Brian.

Bob served at Cornwall DHQ, Lancaster, Ottawa and Dowling Detachments before retiring as a Sergeant from Pembroke Detachment on July 31, 1989. Bob is survived by his wife, Denise and their children Sherry, Glenn and Paul.

Jim worked at the North Grey Detachment, before retiring as a OAG8 January 01, 2006. Jim is survived by his wife Alison and children Deb and Chris.
