The chapter appreciates the young officer’s dedication to carry out the mission of MADD Canada, to keep our Huron County roads safe from drivers who are impaired by alcohol or drugs. Office Middegaal demonstrated significant dermination to locate impaired drivers in Huron County and lay Criminal Code Drinking and Driving charges, that resulted in cases being referred to court for prosecution. This action no doubt saved lives.
Constable Middegaal’s investigative excellence and dedicated enforcement efforts led to her arresting 16 impaired drivers in the 2020 calendar year. An impressive commitment to public safety, especially, for an officer in their second year of policing.
