Our thoughts today are with our OPP officer and their family who sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries after our officer was struck by a suspect vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Highway 3 near St Thomas.

This highlights the dangers our officers face every day keeping Ontario safe.

Thank you to all of the officers who responded quickly to our officer’s call for assistance and arrested the suspect, our calm and quick thinking Communicators, and thank you to all of the First Responders and medical team for the care being given to our member.
