National Peace Officers’ Memorial Run 2024 Kicks Off in Toronto with Press Conference
OPPA President John Cerasuolo was honoured to join families of fallen officers, members of the policing community and dignataries this morning at the kick off press conference for the 20th Anniversary of the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Run at the Ontario Police Memorial in downtown Toronto.
Thank you to all of our families and members who are running to Ottawa, as well as riding bicycles to Ottawa on the Canadian Police Memorial – Ride to Remember, including our own Director Lynn Neale. Both the Run and the Ride will arrive on Parliament Hill in Ottawa Saturday at approximately 2pm-3pm.
The Canadian Police And Peace Officers’ Memorial will happen Sunday September 29th, 2024. The Reading of the Names starts at 9am, followed by the March In, Ceremony and March Past. All will be livestreamed on Youtube, Facebook, X and LinkedIn. For links visit cppom.ca/live.
